The Hampden-Sydney College Factbook provides a snapshot of the College’s data on the student experience from application to graduation. It also provides data on the faculty, library, facilities, and budget and finances. Generally, data provided in the Factbook are generated from reports the College must submit to various entities, to include Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), and Common Data Set (CDS).
Each version of the Factbook captures the Fall semester and the previous fiscal and academic years when applicable. Because this report depends on data H-SC submits to IPEDS, SCHEV, and CDS, the Factbook is produced in the Spring semester of each calendar year.
An abbreviated version of the Factbook is produced in the Fall semester for stakeholders who need data before the full version is released in the Spring Semester.
