Virginia Private College Week
Hampden-Sydney College is excited to welcome you to campus during Virginia Private College Week July 15-20th! H-SC is among the 23 outstanding Virginia private colleges and universities who will host daily programs for rising juniors and seniors and their families. Prospective transfer students are also invited.
Campus tours will be offered twice a day—Monday-Friday at 9am and 2pm—to help you learn about the power of the Hampden-Sydney collegiate experience. We will also host a morning session on Saturday at 9am. As you tour our picturesque 1330-acre campus, you will have the chance to see first-hand how our academic, athletic, and co-curricular programs in this special setting combine to create the most transformative college experience for young men in this country today.

Preview Days
Attending a Preview Day provides students and their families the chance to visit campus for a day and to better understand what it’s like to be a student at Hampden-Sydney College. You will hear how we offer the most transformative collegiate experience in the country for young men, you will learn about student and residential life, and you will speak with faculty and staff about activities and academic areas of interest. You will also learn about Hampden-Sydney's innovative experiential learning initiative, Compass. Compass is our distinctive approach to hands-on learning preparing our men to compete for top jobs and graduate programs. After touring our spacious campus, you will have lunch catered by one of our students' favorite local restaurants. Then you can experience a Tiger Game Day as well as our world-class tailgating scene.
You will quickly discover why Hampden-Sydney College is attracting national attention and the desire to attend is on the rise. Space is limited, so make your reservation early!
Personal Campus Visit
We want to allow you the opportunity to see our campus in person. We will give you a guided tour of campus, answer your questions, and connect you with members of our faculty, staff, and students as best we can. By visiting our campus, you will see first-hand why Hampden-Sydney College is one of the best colleges in the country.
Campus visits can be scheduled Monday through Friday.
