Liz brings over nine years of experience in alumni relations and engagement to Hampden-Sydney. She joins us from the University of Virginia Alumni Association, where she most recently served as senior associate director of alumni programs. In this role, she developed and expanded outreach to under-engaged alumni, revitalized volunteer programs, and implemented innovative strategies to enhance alumni experiences.
“I am honored and excited to join the Hampden-Sydney community and look forward to building upon the College’s rich traditions and working closely with alumni, parents, and students to create meaningful opportunities for engagement,” Crowder says. “Hampden-Sydney has a strong, connected network, and I’m eager to contribute to its continued growth and success.”
Liz's strategic planning, event management, and volunteer coordination expertise will be invaluable as Hampden-Sydney approaches its 250th anniversary and the public phase of its campaign. Her experience creating engaging programs and commitment to fostering strong relationships with alumni and parents align perfectly with our College's mission and values.
"We are thrilled to welcome Liz to Hampden-Sydney and our team,” says Vice President for College Advancement Hugh Haskins ’01. “Her expertise will play a key role as we continue to elevate our engagement with alumni and enrich our community connections. With her diverse skills and extensive experience, Liz will be a tremendous asset as we advance our mission and further our institution."
