An open and honest peer-to-peer conversation led by current students. New Students will have the chance to ask questions. 

11:30 am – 12:15 pm - Lunch 
The Dining Hall, Pannill Commons
New students and their families are welcome to enjoy a meal together.

12:15 - 1 pm – Residence Hall Tour
Leaving at 12:30 pm, Orientation and Service Leaders will take students and their families to the Freshmen Residence Halls, pointing out the Campus Store along the way.

1 - 4 pm – Student-only advising sessions and one-stop-shop for becoming a student at H-SC

Student-Only Advising Session - (Students will be assigned a time slot for a 20-minute appointment with their advisor)

    Scan the QR Code at the Housing Selection Station to enter your housing preference. 
  • H-SC Student Vehicle Decals

    Pick up your vehicle decal or bring your vehicle information and license plate number to register.
  • Ferguson Career Center

    Visit with the Ferguson Career Center staff after your advising session. There you will sign into Handshake with your Hampden-Sydney user ID and password. We encourage you to complete your profile in order to get the best job recommendations, messages, and events that matter to you.
  • Fuqua Computing Center
    Bortz Library, 1st Floor (Ground Floor)
    Visit the Computing Center and learn how to put your hsc.edu email account on your phone, load your mobile Student ID on your phone and mobile watch, and get answers to all your IT questions.
