The financial return on investing in an education begins with your first job. Fortunately, Hampden-Sydney men begin their careers earning more than graduates from other schools. But in the meantime, our Financial Aid Office is here to help you make your education more affordable.
During the past school year, Hampden-Sydney processed over $42 million in financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and employment. We have a need-based program to help families who cannot afford the total cost of the College, as well as a non-need-based program which awards Academic and Leadership Scholarships.
Generous scholarships and financial aid made attending H-SC feasible for me. The financial support that I received has allowed me to build lifelong friendships and enjoy an academic experience that would have been otherwise unattainable.
